This year's Superficial Venous Disease sessions will cover three separate areas, this second session is devoted to procedural considerations of the multiple ablative and adjunctive treatment modalities for superficial venous insufficiency. There will also be an additional sessions focused on dermatologic conditions that venous providers will also see in their day to day practice. Special attention will also be focused on advocacy issues regarding procedural reimbursement.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion, the participant will be able to successfully demonstrate understanding of the updated indications and use of thermal and non-thermal venous ablation modalties of the lower extremities
Upon completion, the participant will be able to successfully demonstrate understanding of the updated indications and role of ultrasound guided foam sclerotherapy of the lower extremities
Upon completion, the participant will be able to successfully demonstrate understanding of the updated indications and role of perforator vein ablation treatment of the lower extremities
Upon completion, the participant will be able to successfully demonstrate understanding of the updated indications and role of ambulatory phlebectomy of the lower extremities
Upon completion, the participant will be able to successfully demonstrate understanding of associated dermatologic conditions that a venous care provider will see on an regular basis and role of surface vein treatment modalties (i.e. IPL, laser, and surface sclerotherapy)
