This session aims to elevate attendee knowledge by providing practical sessions on lower extremity and pelvic venous anatomy and physiology, followed by live ultrasound demonstrations. The session will also include way to identify pelvic involvement and review several unusual case studies, demonstrating how to utilize knowledge gained from didactic presentations.

Learning Objectives:

Identify lower extremity veins during scans
Identify pelvic veins and landmarks during scans
Demonstrate critical thinking skills during difficult or unexpected ultrasound scans
Recognize when to include pelvic venous scans as an addition to LEV protocols due to suspected pelvic involvement
