APICES will take place August 19-20, 2022, in Chicago at the Palmer House, a Hilton Hotel, with 310 attendees. Attendees must have a current (2022-23) AAE membership and must pay a $200 deposit when registering. Thanks to the ongoing support of our gracious corporate partners, registration and hotel accommodations remain FREE and a travel stipend is provided for residents who attend all educational presentations.
The AAE is committed to continuing to follow all CDC guidelines for in-person meetings. AAE encourages all APICES participants to be vaccinated and boosted. All local requirements and guidelines will be followed.
1. UPDATE YOUR MEMBERSHIP
A current 2022-23 AAE membership is required to register for APICES. Ensure your registration experience goes smoothly by updating your AAE membership no later than June 28, 2022. Members renewed or members joining after the June 28 deadline will not qualify for registration to APICES. No exceptions. Please plan ahead!
When registration opens, log in with your first name, last name and the email address associated with your AAE member profile. Spaces are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration will close once capacity is reached and a waitlist will be maintained. Learn more about registration requirements.
3. CONFIRM HOUSING
All attendees are provided accommodations at the Palmer House, a Hilton Hotel in Chicago. When registering, be sure to provide all the requested information so AAE staff can provide you the most comfortable accommodation. One week after registration closes, AAE will contact attendees who opted for a double/shared room during the registration process, to submit requests for their preferred roommate. Confirmed roommate assignments will be shared in early August. Extended personal stays before or after the meeting must be booked directly with the hotel after you receive a confirmation email with hotel information. AAE staff are unable to make reservations for personal stays for APICES attendees.
4. BOOK TRAVEL
All attendees should plan to arrive on Friday, August 19. Registration and the exhibit hall will open at 1 p.m., and programming begins at 3 p.m. O'Hare International Airport (ORD) and Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW) are served by most major airlines. Flights should be booked on own.
To assist with the cost of travel, a travel reimbursement of up to $200 is offered. A travel stipend form will be available following the meeting and must be submitted with travel receipts. To qualify for the travel stipend, residents must attend all educational events. Failure to attend those presentations will result in the resident not receiving reimbursement. Attendance will be taken.
