Description: People and organizations dedicate a lot of effort and resources strengthening their leadership skills.
Why is followership not as sought after? How did it get a lesser rep? Why do we not praise employees that take direction well as much as we applaud those that take initiative?
The success of effective organizations and great systems do not solely depend on leadership. They depend on the ability of the masses to follow through and carry out the leader's initiatives.
The culture and well‐being of our ECCs would benefit from incorporating a followership to our professional development offerings.
