Presentation Description: The ASAP program has expanded to more than 100 ECCs in eighteen states plus the District of Columbia, and some of the largest alarm monitoring companies including ADT and Tyco. Learn about the participating alarm monitoring companies and PSAPs, project outcomes and witness a live demo. Participants will learn how the ASAP program reduces 9‐1‐1 processing and response times to alarm events while eliminating mistakes, miscommunication, and telephone calls between alarm monitoring companies and 9‐1‐1 PSAPs. Alternative data transport methods will be discussed for agencies located in states that traditionally do not allow non‐CJIS data to traverse the state switch.

Learning Objectives:

At the culmination of this session, participants unfamiliar with the ASAP program will understand the program's goals and outcomes experienced by ASAP-user agencies and how the program can be implemented at each participant's agency.
At the culmination of this session, participants will have knowledge about the ECCs that have joined the ASAP program and ECC success stories including how ASAP came prompted one agency to re-evaluate their workflows and addressing data
At the culmination of this session, participants will have a full understanding about the alarm companies that participate in the ASAP program today and the number of alarm companies that will be participating in the near future.
