Presentation Description: Every agency has supervisors that speak with their employees daily and give positive feedback to help keep their dispatchers motivated. There are also those supervisors at agencies who do the bare minimum and "coast" through their days. Metropolitan Nashville Emergency Communications Center, TN implemented technology to encourage and track supervisor and employee communications, reinforcing positive feedback within comm centers. For Metropolitan Nashville Emergency Communications Center, TN, this paid off one Christmas morning when an explosion knocked out all technology. Steve Martini will provide his experience using technology to boost morale and employee retention.
