From his home office in Atlanta, GA James Potter currently serves as the Sr Manager of Strategic Partnerships for the Public Safety and Professional Communication markets at L3Harris Technologies. He leads the team that founded the Mission Critical Alliance which is a partner program for best-of-breed technology solution providers to openly collaborate to advance the capabilities, compatibility, and security of mission critical solutions.
With over 20 years in telecommunications, his roles have spanned from System Engineering, to Sales, and now Strategy with responsibility for MCA partnerships, Voice of the Customer, and Market Management. James is a graduate of Kennesaw State University, Southern Polytechnic College of Electrical Engineering and Technology. He is also a member of the Utility Broadband Alliance and on the Board of Directors for the Enterprise Wireless Alliance.
Outside the office, James is a husband, a father of two children, dabbles in home automation, pretends to be a chef, and enjoys a good bourbon.
