CISA
Mr. David Nolan is the Branch Chief for the Advanced Interoperable Technology Branch with the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). A communications engineer by training, he coordinates communications-focused research projects, develops best practices in support of public safety communications cybersecurity, and is directly involved with other SAFECOM and National Council of Statewide Interoperability Coordinators activities. Mr. Nolan is also engaged in the development of cellular wireless systems for the Federal Government in support of the Nationwide Governance Division. He supports the CISA 5G campaign, as well as frequently interfaces with organizations across the country involved in national defense, homeland security, and public safety. Mr. Nolan previously represented CISA on the Federal Communications Commission’s Communications Security, Reliability, and Interoperability Council V, providing expertise on Signaling System 7 vulnerabilities.
