Sridhar Kowdley is a Program Manager at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate Office for Interoperability and Compatibility Technology Center. He is leading a number of initiatives including the Project 25 Compliance Assessment Program (P25 CAP), 5G, Next Generation 911 systems . As the Program Manager for P25 CAP, he is responsible for ensuring communications equipment declared by the supplier actually is P25 compliant and tested against the standards with publicly published results. He is also the Program Manager for the DHS First Responder Electronic Jamming Program to assess, evaluate and mitigate impacts of electronic jamming on First Responder communications. He has 30 years of experience in program management, engineering and analysis of civilian, commercial and defense telecommunications and wireless systems and networks. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University NYC and an MS in Electrical and Computer engineering from George Mason University.
