Director
Carroll County 911
Carrollton, Georgia
I am a 15 year veteran of public safety, starting my career as a police officer in 2007 at the age of 18. In 2012, I was blessed with an opportunity that led to me becoming the youngest police chief in the State of Georgia, obtaining my Chief's certification at 23 years old. I worked diligently to rebuild that department and upon doing so I continued my career at the Bartow County Sheriff's Office. I worked as a patrol officer and earned the ranks of field training officer, corporal and sergeant. In 2016, I became the department's youngest general instructor with teaching being my passion. This resulted in more instructor certifications including firearms, active shooter and most important to me, verbal judo or "tactical communications". I knew early on in my career that teaching others and leadership was where I felt at home. I graduated from Reinhardt University in 2019 with a bachelor's degree in Organizational leadership and Management /Leadership. I then began my career at The Carroll County Sheriff's Office where I still currently serve as a part-time deputy Sheriff. In February 2021, I was appointed by the Chairman of the Carroll County Board of Commissioners to serve as the E-911 Director for Carroll County. Since that appointment, my staff and I have worked diligently to bring Carroll County 911 to the next level and become a premier center in the state. I serve as the secretary of the Carroll County Crisis Response Team Advisory board and as the Chairman of the Carroll County EMS Board. I recently graduated from The University of Alabama in May 2022 with my Masters in Organizational Leadership with a focus in communication studies and have plans to continue my education after completion.
