Cheryl Bledsoe has a very diverse career in public administration, with 10 years in juvenile corrections and nearly 2 decades in both emergency management and 911. She has navigated a number of declared disasters including flooding, landslides, wildfires, ice storms and public health events (spanning H1N1, SARS to the current COVID-19 pandemic). Before becoming the Clackamas 911 (CCOM) Director in 2018, she served as the department's Technology Manager, providing leadership and project management for a local phone system refresh, regional Text-to-911, CAD2CAD and CAD system upgrade across 4 local centers in the Portland metro area. Cheryl will be co-presenting with Toni Sexton, CCOM's current Technology Manager, who has also had a lengthy career in 911, spanning nearly every position in a 911 center from dispatcher to Operations Manager and state 911 coordinator prior to landing in her present position. Clackamas County covers a large geographic area from the iconic Mt. Hood in Oregn to the suburbs just south & east of the city of Portland.
