Presentation Description: In a multiâ€agency response, first responders arrive onâ€scene from various jurisdictions, requiring immediate communications with fellow responders. Two years ago, FirstNet Pushâ€toâ€Talk (PTT) was released and with it came the ability to use nationwide talkgroups. There was no mutual aid (MA) framework for public safety to use when adopting and operationalizing critical voice communications over LTE. This panel will review the naming conventions and governance issues addressed by the SAFECOM/NCSWIC working group and look at use cases in successfully integrating this into your communications plan.
