Brooke Hunter is a Senior Health Outcomes Scientist with Magellan Health’s Clinical Outcomes Analytics and Research (COAR) team, and has been in her current role since 2016. Her work at Magellan focuses on predictive analytics, including at-risk patient identification for issues such as opioid misuse and medication non-adherence, evaluation of interventions, and other clinical outcomes research projects. Ms. Hunter earned a Bachelors’ of Science degree with a double Major in Psychology and Biology from Western Illinois University, and a Masters’ of Science degree in Quantitative Psychology from Illinois State University. Prior to her position with Magellan, Ms. Hunter was a research associate at Lighthouse Research Institute, where she assisted research scientists with randomized controlled trials and field experiments in the area of adolescent substance use disorder treatment. Additionally, she has authored or co-authored numerous peer reviewed studies, and presented research findings at several professional conferences.
