Abstract/Program Book Description: The format of “the book” has been changing. It can be a printed volume, a digital file, or a packaged combination of text and app. The anticipated functionality of the product being delivered has changed as a result. Books are not produced or delivered in the same way and some of the economic practices have shifted. The result is that publishers and librarians are having to rethink expectations and workflows. The 15th Annual BISG-NISO Forum at ALA will address how the book business has changed recently and the resulting questions that are emerging for the information community as a result.
