In this session, Quaker, activist, and master storyteller George Lakey will describe his involvement in struggles for peace, civil rights, LGBTQ rights, labor justice, and climate action. His life is the subject of a forthcoming documentary film and a new memoir—Dancing with History: A Life for Peace and Justice (Seven Stories Press, November 2022). George will be joined in conversation by Daryn Cambridge, an educator and trainer focusing on nonviolent action and social justice.
