Amy Fiscus is the deputy editor of The Morning, the flagship daily newsletter of The New York TImes. She was previously The Times' national security editor and a deputy Washington bureau chief. A graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism, she has also worked for The Los Angeles Times, The Associated Press and other news organizations. She lives in Washington with her partner.
