Dennis Edelen, Instructional Assitant 1 for Miami Dade College Kendall Library, is a South Florida native. He has been an actor, magazine editor, fingerprint technician, and children’s story-teller.
He has written widely, in multiple forms and genres. His play, "Three O'clock", won the Millennium New Voices award in 2006, and his poetry collection, "An Awfully Big Adventure", dealing with the experience of the First World War, won the 2008 Forum Award in Humanities. He is the author of the novel “Jehanne: A Story of Joan of Arc”, the poetry collection "Three Decades/One Life", and the anthologies "Uncharted Seas", and "Scripts & Pieces".
He is surrounded by books, and owned by two cats.
