Candice (Wing-yee) Mack manages systemwide Teen Services at the Los Angeles Public Library. She is a member of the inaugural cohort for the ALA Policy Corps, a past President of the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA), a 2012 ALA Emerging Leader and 2006 ALA Spectrum Scholar. Candice holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology with an emphasis on child and adolescent development, a master’s degree in library and information science, and teaches the graduate level Young Adult Services course at UCLA. She is the incoming President-elect of the Asian Pacific American Librarians Association and the incoming Secretary of ALA's Graphic Novel and Comics Round Table.
