David is the President of Giving Design, LLC, a consulting firm focused on planned giving and growth strategies for library foundations and friends. He also serves as the current President of the Board of California Public Library Advocates.
David has provided comprehensive fund development services to public libraries as well as library friends and foundations for more than 18 years. He has consulted with libraries in California, Ohio, Michigan, Iowa, Missouri, Georgia, Utah, Arkansas, Tennessee, and more for:
• friends formation and restructuring,
• foundation formation and restructuring,
• comprehensive fundraising efforts,
• planned giving promotion,
• development professional recruitment and coaching, and
