Abby Moore, an Education Librarian at UNC Charlotte, is from rural upstate New York and spent much of her youth with her nose in a book. She graduated from Lehigh University and in 2003 began teaching English in the Bronx after being accepted into the New York City Teaching Fellows program. She took over her high school library program in 2009 and has been a librarian ever since. After three years as the Education Librarian at the University of South Dakota, Ms. Moore moved back east to work at UNC Charlotte. As an instructor in the University Honors program, she combines her love of teaching and her dedication to creating lifelong learners out of her students. During her free time, Ms. Moore likes to work on her new house, take her dogs swimming, and begin crafts that she may or may not finish.
