Wyoming Library to Business
As a Wyoming native, University of Wyoming College of Business graduate, and the Business Services Coordinator for Laramie County Library System, Rachael Svoboda has extensive business knowledge of the Wyoming community, and uses it to successfully implement projects such as Libraries Build Business and the Wyoming Community Navigator program, which reduce barriers for a diverse array of small business owners. Rachael was recently named an American Library Association Fellow through the Libraries Build Business initiative, and is one of six national coaches tasked with assisting librarians in growing business development programs around the country. The recipient of the Wyoming Library Association’s 2021 Outstanding Librarian Award, Rachael utilizes innovative thinking to help provide communities with meaningful resources for economic growth and diversification.
