Heather Riley (MLIS/BS Mass Media Communications) acts as the Circulation and Customer Experience Librarian at New Orleans Public Library. Originally from Southwest Missouri, Heather moved to New Orleans in 2010 to work with AmeriCorps as an adult literacy instructor. Stationed at New Orleans Public Library, Heather has been in love with libraries and New Orleans ever since. Serving as the assistant head of the Equity Taskforce, Heather works to integrate Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion into all aspects of library work including circulation policy, training, and service development.
