Cassy Lee has been a credentialed teacher librarian for nine years, the last six at the middle school level at Chinese American International School. She was awarded the School Library Journal 2018 Champion of Student Voice and the 2020 AASL Roald Dahl's Miss Honey Social Justice Award for her work there.
She is now in a new position as a high school librarian at Taipei American School in Taiwan. Her passions include championing equity, empathy, engagement and youth empowerment in the library and beyond and tweets about these things occasionally @MrsLibrarianLee. She lives in Taipei with her husband and tween son and loves geeking out about books with kids, teens, and adults alike.
