Jon earned his MLIS from San Jose State University in 2005. He spent many years working in library technology, including website development, ILS administration, and other digital services. Since then, he moved into leadership roles, serving as the Library & Cultural Arts Manager at Englewood Public Library in Colorado, Deputy Director and now Library Director for the Riverside County Library System in Riverside County, California.
