Kari D. Weaver (she/her/elle), M.L.I.S., Ed.D., is the Learning, Teaching, and Instructional Design Librarian at the University of Waterloo, in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. In this role, she oversees the development of online instruction, advances teaching culture, and explores strategic partnerships related to teaching and learning on behalf of the library. A longtime ALA member, Kari has held numerous service positions, including elected positions in NMRT and has recently been elected as the Vice Chair/Chair Elect of the ACRL Women's and Gender Studies Section. Her research interests include accessibility for online learning, co-teaching, inclusive pedagogies, information literacy, and academic integrity, particularly in the STEM disciplines.
