Nitzan Koren is a Ph.D. student at the College of Information Studies at the University of Maryland. She earned an M.A. in Science Education from Tel Aviv University and a B.A. in Psychology from Bar Ilan University. Nitzan studies information literacy and civic engagement in out-of-school contexts. She uses participatory methods to design with youth.
