Wendy Steadman Stephens is an associate professor and chair of the school library program in the School of Education at Jacksonville State University, with research interests including materials for youth and teens, data literacy, and school librarianship. Recent publications include the 2021 book Mindfulness in School Libraries: Creating and Sustaining Nurturing Spaces and Programs. She was chair of the 2021 CORE Excellence in Children’s and Young Adult Science Fiction committee.
