Jackson County Library Services
Kari May is the Director of Jackson County Library Services, a 15-branch system in Southern Oregon serving over 220,000 people. Prior to moving to Oregon in 2018, she was the director of a rural library system in Elbert County, Colorado, and worked at the State Library of Utah as the Assistant State Librarian. She values the role that libraries play in their communities. Her 5-member Board of Directors are elected and are the governing body for the Library District.
