Kelly Passek

Kelly Passek is the Librarian at Blacksburg Middle School in Blacksburg VA and the Lead Secondary Librarian for Montgomery County Public School in VA. She is the Chair of the Legislative Committee for the Virginia Association of School Librarians and is the 2021 Virginia School Librarian of the Year. Kelly was the first librarian in the world to use drones to deliver library books to students at their homes during the pandemic. She was named a 2021 Mover & Shaker by Library Journal for this work and its use in advocating for our profession.
