Erica Bruchko (she/her/hers) is the Librarian for African American Studies and U.S. History at the Emory University Libraries. She holds a PhD and MA in History from Emory University and a BA in History and Anthropology from the University of South Carolina, Columbia. Her research interests include DEI and libraries, archival literacy and nineteenth century African American history. Erica is the founding Co-chair of the RUSA History Section's Programming Committee and the Subject Co-chair of the Library of Congress Subject Authority Cooperative Program (SACO) African American Studies Funnel Project.
