Book Description: The Kulu fable teaches the youth proper behavior, respect for self and others. Fables help societies create a sense of unity, gives adults sources for reflection and shows that friendships can be sincere even if the friends are different. Kulu encourages children to see good in themselves and others. He makes them aware that consideration of others and forgiveness are important. Mveng is an American who lived in Africa for 18 years. She observed the youth’s behavior and learned why they respect themselves and the elders. She returned the US, taught in its schools and was appalled at youth's behavior.
