Location: Exhibit Hall - Diversity in Publishing Stage
In 2021, Shout Mouse Press partnered with DC's Latin American Youth Center to produce the bilingual Beyond Borders series, children's books centering immigrant voices. This multimedia panel will showcase the incredible journeys taken by these young authors from eight countries, from brainstorming ideas with Shout Mouse story coaches, to working with an illustrator for the first time, and eventually sharing their stories with the world.
