Incorporating Virtual Reality Training into Library Workforce Development Programs

With employees leaving the workforce at record rates, there is a dire need for workforce development programs to help reskill and upskill job seekers. Libraries today have a unique opportunity to build stronger community connections by offering virtual reality training that prepares people for in-demand careers. This session will discuss how libraries can incorporate 3D simulations and virtual reality technology into their training programs and showcase how a Georgia library is already doing it.
