Library Research Round Table Mentorship Program Information Session

Abstract/Program Book Description: Are you interested in applying research methods in your work? Do you have experience with conducting research that you want to share as a mentor? Are you a new academic librarian who needs to conduct research for promotion? If you want to gain more insight into developing a research agenda, applying research methods to your work, or identifying publication outlets, then the LRRT's Mentorship Program may be a good fit for you. The LRRT Mentoring Committee is revising the virtual program, which will re-start in Fall 2022. We'd like you to help us make it a success. Join us!
Long Description/Scheduler Description: Are you interested in applying research methods in your work while collaborating with colleagues and an expert mentor? Do you have experience with conducting research that you want to share as a mentor? Are you a new academic librarian who needs to conduct research for promotion? If you want to gain more insight into developing a research agenda, applying a research method to your work, identifying publication outlets, or creating articles from postgraduate research, then the LRRT's Mentorship Program may be a good fit for you. The LRRT Mentoring Committee is revising the virtual program, which will re-start in Fall 2022. We'd like you to help us make it a success. The LRRT Mentorship Program supports ALA's Key Action Areas, notably Diversity, Education and Lifelong Learning, and Transforming Libraries by extending the network of knowledge regarding research methods of all kinds.
