BIPOC Burnout During Times of Covid: The Impact of Service on Mental Health

The Covid-19 pandemic has significantly impacted the field of librarianship, especially in terms of burnout. Coordinated by the Spectrum Advisory Committee, this session will feature a panel of library folks of color who will share their experiences with library burnout and their work in the field during the pandemic. We will explore how they have managed or what they have done to be mindful of their mental health during times of Covid.

Learning Objectives:

Understand the meaning of Burnout
Examine personal and professional actions by integrating professional values and role behaviors by examining the problems of health and illness.
