You will learn the results of a pilot study, providing a set of recommendations for how libraries can support the initiation and sustainability of library financial literacy programming, conducted by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). You will hear from librarians from a variety of library settings who are leaders in financial literacy, a skill they developed over time with the support of other librarians and organizations such as the CFPB. The CFPB will provide a training session focusing on a tool, "Want credit to work for you?" booklet, from their Your Money Your Goals program.
