Beyond the Visible Spectrum: Intersectional Diversity in LGBTQIA+ Young Adult Literature

A panel discussion with current/recent YA authors who are not only LGBTQIA+/queer, but also BIPOC, disabled, and/or neurodiverse, on increasing representation in YA books.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion, participant will be able to recommend books that are more nuanced and better representations of the variety of queer experiences in young adult literature.
Upon completion, participant will be able to update collections with more diverse sexualities and genders represented.
Upon completion, participant will be able to identify works that meet multiple diverse representations (queer and disabled, queer and neurodivergent, queer and BIPOC, etc.).
