Ayanna received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and her Juris Doctorate degree from Gonzaga University School of Law. She has worked for state government for ten years, and became the Employment Security Department’s inaugural EDI Director in October 2020. Ayanna is a member of ESD’s Executive Leadership Team and brings knowledge of EDI issues in our workforce as well as the passion to facilitate change.
