Sam Virgil is the strategic initiatives manager for the Unemployment Insurance Customer Support division (UICS) of Employment Security Department. Sam has more than 20 years of diverse management experience in government, non-profit, and corporate customer service environments. He provides leadership in facilitation, training, and workforce readiness. Engagement is high on his priorities list for both internal and external customers. Sam is certified in SHRM – CP, PHR, and Prosci Change Management. Sam is excited for the networking and ongoing learning opportunities that being a member of IAWP provides.
