Presentation Purpose & Goal: The nation is experiencing an unprecedented period of employee turnover, economic uncertainty, and decreases in higher education enrollment. Flourishing partnerships between workforce development councils, community partners, and higher education institutions are supporting communities and families through innovative strategies to support adult learners on pathways to credentials and living wage careers.
This presentation will explore these partnerships, discuss effective system engagement and collaboration models, and identify actionable strategies to increase and support credential attainment and living-wage career outcomes for Washington’s adult learners.
