Casting a Wider N.E.T. (Networking, Evaluation, Transferal of Ideas)

Presentation Purpose & Goal: Collaboration, community, and hope. These are the words our community uses to describe the Pierce County Community Engagement Task Force. Made up of nearly 200 members across 100 organizations, the Task Force fosters and enhances the trust of our communities for long-term sustainable engagement.

To rebuild trust and address barriers and biases, we need to cast a wider N.E.T. by focusing on cross-sector Networking, Evaluation, and the Transferal of ideas. Centered around these principles, the Task Force builds a strong foundation that fosters the economic mobility of individuals and families in Pierce County.

This session will discuss barriers to accessibility for clients and providers, as well as the solutions created through having a robust community engagement task force. Attendees will see the blueprints behind the Task Force and learn how to develop a strategy for their own communities to ensure no one is pushed aside or left behind.
