Director, Resource Center of Spokane County Career Path Services
Presentation Purpose & Goal: We invite practitioners, system partners, managers, and program implementers to come learn how Spokane has utilized the Basic Food, Employment and Training (BFET) program to strengthen partnerships, increase resources available to customers, and provide more wholistic services. We will provide real-world examples from our Resource Center. Now that non-federal State Economic Security for All (EcSA) funding is available to all areas of Washington, the BFET program can be implemented in any area - even ones without other non-federal funding sources.
Learning Objectives:
Help participants catch a vision for how to use non-federal funding sources to provide more wholistic services for customers
Participants will learn the basic requirements for the BFET program and how to become a BFET provider
Participants will learn how co-enrollment is a good thing when working with partners to meet common goals
