Christopher Petersen, JD. Director & Principal Business Consultant, Verisk.

Chris is the director of business consulting solutions for North America, Europe, and Australia. He has spent the last 15 years in Insurtech, serving property insurance clients and partners. Chris leads a team of consultants helping clients with technology, change management, process improvement, strategy, and optimization.

Chris has trained over 3,000 Xactimate users and consulted over 50 clients, which range from national insurance providers to regional carriers, law firms, and private restoration companies. Prior to joining the Verisk corporation, Chris worked on an engineering team, building high-rises in the gulf coast of Florida. He also served as an active-duty noncommissioned officer in the US ARMY for 6 years.

Chris holds a Juris Doctorate degree from Concord Law School, a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Phoenix, Certification in Consulting & Leadership from Harvard, and Change Management from Prosci.

Chris also regularly volunteers at and runs donation campaigns for The Fisher House Foundation; as well as, mentoring transitioning veterans from military service.
