Howard Altschule is a Certified Consulting Meteorologist and the founder of Forensic Weather Consultants, one of the largest and most reliable weather expert firms in the country. A Certified Consulting Meteorologist (CCM) is the highest certification a consulting meteorologist can receive from the American Meteorological Society (AMS). For more than 2 decades, Howard has provided certified weather expert analyses and reports for various insurance claims, lawsuits and investigations nationwide. Some of the very common cases he works on include slip and fall accidents on snow/ice, alleged hail damage and wind damage claims, hurricane wind (or wind v. storm surge) cases, and other property damage incidents. Since founding the company over 22 years ago, he has worked on about 7,000 claims, lawsuits and weather investigations and has provided testimony in trials 95 times and over 70 depositions. Howard has always been admitted as experts in various courts around the country.
