Over the last 20 years, John has been involved in simple and complex litigation representing attorneys, contractors, insurance companies, individuals, and governmental entities. He has successfully testified in Circuit, State and Federal Court and his opinions have been referenced in Appeal Rulings by the Supreme Court of Florida.
As a licensed General Contractor, John has designed and built single family, multifamily, commercial, and industrial projects in Southeast and Central Florida. Some of the projects received local awards for their creativity and the quality of the finished product and were published in local magazines. In some instances, John acquired the property and acted as the developer putting the financing in place, marketing the projects to the end user, and finally turning over the keys to the new owner at closing.
In summary, for over 40 years, John has directed all phases of an extensive diversity of engineering projects; from initial conceptual layout and reports, to design, construction, inspection, final certification, and turnkey, to the client. Mr. Carroll’s professional experience extends throughout the United States, Caribbean and into Arab countries, and includes all aspects of governmental, institutional, commercial, industrial, educational, residential, recreational, structural, and transportation engineering. Projects designed under his direction include large-scale master planning and final design documents for drainage, paving, sanitary sewer, potable water, and highways. He has also performed local site development projects for both national and regional accounts.
