Within the FirstNet Program at AT&T, Amos Chalmers is responsible for working with FirstNet stakeholders and FirstNet Solutions Consultant teams for the Southwestern United States and the Pacific Territories. His special focus areas include LMR-LTE interoperability, mobile data communications, deployable technology & mobile security. Prior to joining the FirstNet Program at AT&T team in 2017, Amos spent 20 years working in public safety technology for the Phoenix Fire Department and retired as the Deputy Chief over their regional dispatch and deployment organization. Since joining AT&T much of his work has focused on delivering prioritized wireless solutions for critical voice and data communication needs including mobile VPNs, LMR-LTE interoperability fleet management, and workforce management. Amos holds a Master of Science degree from the W.P. Carey School of Business at ASU in Business Analytics as well as a Master of Art in Applied Leadership and Management. He has been a speaker at events including IWCE, IACP, and APCO. He lives in Phoenix with his wife, son and daughter.
