On August 24, 2006, Mike Papale survived sudden cardiac arrest. A competitive basketball being recruited to play in college, he was seemingly healthy. While serving as a camp counselor at a basketball camp, he was sitting on the bleachers and slumped forward into sudden cardiac arrest. No one started CPR right away and there was no AED in the building. In this session, Mike will talk about his miraculous survival from sudden cardiac arrest and the work he is doing to help save lives!
