Training Volunteers

The NVFC and the VCOS partnered to update the Training Volunteers White Paper released in 2010. The updated report includes update to old information but also some new ideas on how to develop and deliver training to today’s volunteer. With expanding department missions, decreasing time available, and limited budgets and resources, it can seem impossible for volunteers to get all of the training they need. The goal of the report is to share with you how to develop training that meets the needs of the community, department and the volunteers.
