Annual life safety fire inspections are more than just inspecting fire extinguishers and exit signage. This workshop will highlight an actual case which had extensive violations at a large entertainment complex that made numerous structure additions without proper permits and continuously attempted to operate over the allowed occupant capacity. The discussion will include the involvement of both local and state officials and the eventual court hearing. Had this been allowed to continue, this could have resulted in a catastrophic loss of life.
