Chief of the Suffield Fire Department located in Suffield, Connecticut., a combination department of 8 Career and 40 Volunteer Firefighters, covering a total 43 square miles. Serving since 1978, began his fire service career with the Wethersfield Volunteer Fire Department, ascending to Chief of Department prior to accepting his current position in 2012. Previously, worked in the telecommunications industry for 25 years with AT&T. A certified Fire Officer IV and actively instructs as an Adjunct Instructor for the Connecticut Fire Academy and other regional schools. Currently serves on the Board of Directors as Chairman of the Volunteer Combination Officers Section of the International Association of Fire Chiefs. Inducted in to the Connecticut Firefighters Hall of Fame Class of 2017, His passion runs deep with training, retention & recruitment and firefighter’s health & safety where he is active in a number of sub committees. The joys of his life are his son Brendan and his daughter Fallon.
